National idea - is independence of Pridnestrovie

Responding to questions of the moderator of the parliamentary and journalistic dialogue, held in "The Parliamentary Newspaper" press center, the Chairman of the Supreme Council Vadim Krasnoselsky reminded the major milestones of history of the region, confirming the right of Pridnestrovie to self-determination and choice of their pro-Russian vector of development.

In addition, the speaker dispelled rumors of various media that Pridnestrovian authorities allegedly conducted secret negotiations with Chisinau on the "surrender" of Pridnestrovie to Moldova. "We have three branches of Government; there is a legislative body, government and president. And most importantly, we have a national idea - the independence of the republic. There may be differences of opinion in matters of the economy, but in the pursuit of the national idea, we are one. Pridnestrovie was created by the people will. The people have a right to know what is happening. Rumors are born by closure. So I always call for openness,"- said Vadim Krasnoselsky.
