Dear Pridnestrovians!

Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic I cordially congratulate you on the Victory Day!

This festival brings us the sacred memory of the feat of arms and selfless labor of our people in the Great Patriotic War all the years after May victorious forty-five.

May 9 – is the main national holiday in the minds of our compatriots. This is a day of permanent joy and light in memory of those who gave their lives defending the right for the future, freedom and dignity of millions of people worldwide.

Victory in the Great Patriotic War has been won at great cost, and demanded the greatest stress of all the spiritual and physical strength of the Soviet people, unprecedented heroism of soldiers, the dedication of workers in the rear. The people of Pridnestrovie made worthy contribution to the Great Victory.

Names of the dead - are forever in our memory. Stories returning from the battlefields - are sacred to us. Memories of home front workers fill our hearts with sincere empathy.

The Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, gives a special meaning to the whole our modern history, forms the civic position of generations born after the war. This festival brings together generations of a single historical memory.

Great feat of the people - soldier, the people worker for many decades became an inexhaustible source of spiritual strength to overcome any difficulties and trials. We find moral guidance in our lives in those events, and support for the creative affairs today.

Dear veterans!

A low bow for peaceful sky to you. For the courageously that overshadowed the country from the enemy, that the cost of enormous effort survived and won in this terrible war.

I sincerely wish all Pridnestrovians health, happiness, prosperity, happiness and peaceful sky over your head!
