A number of legislations, adopted by parliament at the first plenary meeting of the autumn session dealt with regulation of the banking sector of our state. In particular, deputies in the first reading adopted amendments to the law "On Banks and Banking Activities in the PMR" proposed by the President. The law-in-draft was developed so that tax authorities have the opportunity, upon request, to receive online information on the availability of accounts, on cash balances on accounts, on transactions on accounts of legal entities and individuals engaged in individual entrepreneurial activities without forming a legal entity.
In addition, the Supreme Council supported the initiative of the Government and adopted in the first reading the law-in-draft "On additional measures aimed at stabilizing the PMR economy". Changes to the law provide for state support of two river ports of Pridnestrovie - Bendery and Rybnitsa. Developers of the law-in-draft suggest reducing the tax burden for these enterprises, and direct the net profit to capital investments in new technological equipment, overhauls, expanding production and improving the material and technical database of organizations.
According to Oleg Vasilaty, the state has taken all necessary measures, now everything will depend on management decisions that are made at the enterprise level. They must be effective so that river ports can recover.
By decision of the Supreme Council, this law-in-draft will already be in the second reading on the agenda of the next plenary meeting, which will be held on September 18.
