The main taxpayer of the country, the backbone of its economy - the group of companies "Sheriff" celebrates a quarter-century anniversary. Heads of the state - the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky, the Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba, the Prime Minister Alexander Martynov came to congratulate the birthday persons at the Palace of the Republic.

The solemn ceremony of rewarding the best employees of the holding was opened by the general director of LLC "Sheriff", deputy of the Supreme Council Dmitry Ogirchuk. He expressed gratitude to the leadership of the state for the paid attention to the activities of the company, the high appreciation of the work of its employees.

Today the labor collective of the company "Sheriff" is the most numerous in Pridnestrovie, it employs more than 14 thousand people. The current potential of the company-jubilee grew first in the PMR supermarket, opened in 1996, now there are 28 of them and a hypermarket, 17 filling stations. The group of companies "Sheriff" includes such large industrial enterprises as CJSC "Tirotex", "KVINT", "Moldavizolit". There were put into operation from scratch such objects as the sports complex, the sturgeon complex "Aquatir", the medical and diagnostic center "Medin", the sheep farm "Nashe delo" and the brewery, the social and business center "Russia" was reconstructed, the Christ Cathedral was erected in the center of the capital.

The word "social responsibility" for the leading company, is not an empty phrase. It has been implementing a major social project "We need you" for many years. Assistance is provided to pensioners, students (nominal scholarships), people with disabilities. The full content of LLC "Sheriff" is an orphanage in Tiraspol since 2006.

The Speaker of the Parliament drew attention to the fact that many employees of the LLC "Sheriff" were elected in the course of elections to the representative bodies of power - the Supreme and local Soviets of People's Deputies.

One of these people's deputies - deputy of the Supreme Council Yakov Galak - on the birthday of the company received a well-deserved state award: the Order of Labor Glory.
