The Supreme Council deputies in the course of the plenary session today adopted in the second final reading amendments and additions to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, which provide for punishment for drivers for deliberate drifting.
The authors of the law-in-draft note that drivers of vehicles drift on the roads of Pridnestrovie, thereby pose a threat to the safety of life and health of road users at present. It was proposed to establish administrative responsibility for drifting higher than for violating other prohibitions provided for by the Rules of the Road in order to avoid the creation of emergency situations. The deputies agreed that it would be a fine in the amount of 50 to 100 minimum wages that is from 920 to 1840 rubles.
The parliamentarians noted most often the driver when drifting violates several traffic rules at once. Therefore, the amount of fines for such a motorist may still increase.
The law-in-draft was adopted in the second final reading and sent for signature to the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
