On the eve of parliamentary vacation

Meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic was held. The agenda of tomorrow's plenary session was supplemented in the course of the meeting with a number of issues, including amendments and additions to the law on the budget.

Parliamentarians will consider a number of legislations in the second final reading. Including amendments to the law on the budget-2022, that provide for a reduction in state spending in connection with the foreign economic and foreign policy situation. The deputies plan in the second final reading to adopt amendments and additions to the Electoral Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, aimed at updating the electoral legislation based on the results of its verification in practice during the organization and conduct of the presidential elections last winter. The law-in-draft was prepared on the basis of proposals from the Central Electoral Commission. Work on amendments and additions to some legislative acts at the final stage, which provide for the consolidation in the law "On the Fundamentals of Protecting the Health of Citizens" of such a concept as "medical examination of the population".

The parliamentarians will discuss amendments and additions to the law "On Social Protection of the Disabled" in the second final reading. Deputies of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic plan to secure the right to receive a monthly compensation payment to those who care for disabled people of group I, disabled from childhood of group II, who temporarily need outside help at the conclusion of a medical institution.

Another topical issue for state administrations of cities and regions of Pridnestrovie is mismanaged public or industrial facilities and buildings. It is proposed according to the draft law to empower the state administration of the city (district) to identify such objects. The parliamentarians will adopt in the second reading a number of amendments and additions to the Civil Procedure Code, the Criminal Procedure Code and the Housing Code.

Additions to the Forest Code of the PMR will be considered in the first reading, which provide for making the mandatory norm for double compensatory planting. That is, it will be necessary to plant two new trees instead of one felled one. These changes should affect not only parks, squares and botanical gardens, but forest plantations on agricultural land. Parliamentarians must approve a candidate for the post of Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic within the framework of the plenary session.

The plenary meeting on July 13 will be the final one in the III session of the VII convocation. The parliamentarians after its completion will go on vacation. Legislative activity in the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic will resume in September.
