The Supreme Council congratulated People's Artist of Pridnestrovie Lydia Sizeneva today. She was awarded by decree of the President of Russia the honorary title “Honored Artist of the Russian Federation”. The badge was presented to the opera singer by Advisor to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova Alexander Andreev.
“This is an assessment of your talent, enormous work and your love for music, for your listeners, for your students. You have delighted people in many countries and glorified Russian culture, Russia and your native Pridnestrovie for many years”, noted Alexander Andreev.
Lydia Sizeneva was born in Tiraspol and has been singing since she was four years old. She studied at a music school, then at the Music College named after Anton Rubinstein. She was awarded a special prize at the “Hello, we are looking for talents” competition in Moscow at the age of 20. A few years later Lydia Sizeneva became the leading soloist of the Novosibirsk State Opera and Ballet Theater, where she had been working for 20 years.
She returned after the career in Russia to her hometown in the early 2000s. Lidiya Isidorovna gives her creativity to grateful viewers and teaches vocals to students in Pridnestrovie. People's Artist of Pridnestrovie, professor heads the department of music education at Pridnestrovian State University. She prepares her students for international competitions.
Lydia Sizeneva was congratulated by the leadership of the Supreme Council on being awarded the title “Honored Artist of the Russian Federation”. The soloist performs on stage not only for Pridnestrovians, but tours throughout Russia and other countries together with the chamber orchestra.
