“Parliamentary landing troops” that included the Speaker Mikhail Burla and Deputy Speaker Sergey Cheban, chairman of the “Obnovlenie” faction Peter Pasat and deputy Alexander Korshunov, landed in the northern capital for “informal conversation” with voters.
First of all the deputies told about lawmaking that is the main activity in any parliament.
Deputies worry about the situation in which the laws adopted by the Supreme Council shall be signed by the President of the state and not enter into force. There is the following motivation - supposedly, lawmakers in the decision of a law violated the procedure. Although, there is a corresponding decision of the Constitutional Court on this subject, which consists in the fact that after overcoming a presidential veto by Deputies, the Head of State, in accordance with the Constitution, shall sign the law, without any conditions or reservations. Unfortunately, the practice of legal nihilism suggests otherwise.
Once again, the Chairman of the Supreme Council Mikhail Burla suggested that the differences of opinion, the difference between the approaches to the solution of political, economic and social problems of public authorities is not identical to their confrontation or conflict. In this regard, he urged journalists to more accurately characterize the relationship between the branches and the authorities. Coverage of different socio-political and socio-economic processes, including legislative more reliably and objectively.
Lawmakers in the course of the dialogue with voters paid much attention to the theme of the influence of external factors on the functioning of the various institutions of the republic, the life of its inhabitants. These are continually emerging problems with exports, recent evidence delay of goods, sent to the address of Pridnestrovian economic agents in the territory of Ukraine, the potential threat to Pridnestrovie to be in complete isolation. Deputies are sure that PMR cannot do without the help of Russia in these difficulties overcoming. Parliamentary delegation headed by Speaker Michail Burla will go to Moscow very soon to address various issues of Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation. At the same time, deputies of the Supreme Council told repeatedly about it including the most senior Russian government officials provided assistance to Pridnestrovie, its estimated annual amount of 1 billion dollars, and must be transformed with a few social get productive bias - the creation of new productions, joint ventures, development of cooperative ties, new job places opening, direct investment in the manufacturing sector and the service sector. Pridnestrovians should not sit idly at that. More initiative should be shown, entrepreneurship, business acumen, nobody will solve our problems. Only we need to know how they should be addressed. In this connection many proposals were heard from voters during the meeting with their elected representatives. We talked about the necessity of the development of tourism, business information technology, creation of enterprises on production of drugs, recovery of production with a specific character (sugar and spirit industrial complex in Rybnitsa, tobacco fermentation plant in Dubossary, production of essential oils in Grigoriopol, refrigerated plant in the capital, and others). The participants of the meeting expressed regret that the economic policy leads to the fact that with the industrial map of the republic entire enterprise (Rybnitsa dairy, Slobodzeia bread-baking complex), and even industry disappeared.
There was a special place topic regarding Moldova's joining the free trade zone with the EU and the consequences that await in this regard and our exporting companies, and our economy at the end of 2015, when, in relation to our economic agents will be canceled preferential treatment. In this situation the task for the reorientation of our export market potential of the Eurasian Economic Union, especially Russia becomes urgent.
The deputies and voters parted after a two-hour meeting in the spirit of mutual offers advertising slogan – “We should meet more often”.
