All educational institutions of the republic held ceremonial assemblies dedicated to the beginning of the new academic year on the 3rd of September. 73 first-graders crossed today the threshold of the capital's school No. 14 for the first time, beginning their exciting journey into the world of knowledge. Deputy Chairperson of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, deputy for constituency No. 25 "Zapadny" Galina Antyufeyeva came to visit the children for the ceremonial assembly. She congratulated the schoolchildren and teachers on the beginning of the school year and wished the children success in their studies, to discover new things every day and to expand their knowledge base.
Six school teachers received well-deserved awards at the ceremonial assembly. Three teachers received the title of "Excellent Public Education of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic", two were awarded certificates of the Ministry of Education, and one teacher was awarded a certificate of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The staff of school No. 14 was replenished this year with several young teachers who are enthusiastically preparing to pass on their knowledge to students.
Today is an important day for first-graders: their first steps along the school corridors, their first lesson, meeting their first teacher and their first school knowledge.
This day was full of excitement and joy for the parents of first-graders. They recalled their own school years, watching their children embark on the path of knowledge and new discoveries.
Seventh-graders, who were also recently given their first school textbooks, recalled with a smile how they themselves once began their path at school. They noted that time flies quickly, and today's first-graders will soon become just as confident and mature.
Teachers, parents and students of School No. 14 are looking forward to a successful and productive school year that will bring many joyful events and achievements.
