The first plenary session of the autumn session of Parliament started with solemn moment of state awards presenting. Chairman of the District Council of People's Deputies from Kamenka Nicolai Zielinski, speaker of parliament Mikhail Burlavruchil received jubilee medal “25 years of PMR”. A group of lawmakers was awarded diplomas of the Supreme Council and letters of thanks of the chairman. This day the head of the legislature congratulated those who was awarded and deserved appreciation for their work and wished them good luck in all undertakings, peace and prosperity.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council Mikhail Burla before considering the issues on the agenda of the plenary meeting announced parliamentary inquiries that were directed to his address. In particular, one of them from parliamentarian Grigory Dyachenko who raised question regarding the legality of charging rent for the use of school textbooks as free humanitarian aid from Russia. The republic received 517 thousand copies of new modern textbooks.
Deputies of the Supreme Council voted for requesting colleagues at the prosecutor's office to carry verification of the legality of such action.
In the course of the first plenary session of the Supreme Council the question of making changes to the Housing and Criminal Codes was considered, and an appeal to the President and the prime minister was made to cancel the order of the Government, which ordered the CEC to move to another building.
