On the wave of the New Year

Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeeva and parliamentarian Oleg Vasilaty awarded the winners of the drawing contest "On the Wave of the New Year". As the website of the “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) social and political party informs, the children aged 4 to 14 years with the help of paints and pencils told about the beauty and fun of the winter, the traditions of the beloved family holiday.

About 3,000 drawings participated in the competition. Sent in electronic and paper versions works were evaluated separately. The jury worked with the original works, selecting the 48 best. Their authors are residents of different cities and regions of Pridnestrovie - prizes or diplomas were awarded. The children were given presents, memorable diplomas. Figures of the winners were put up in the foyer of the party office. Presenting awards, Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeeva said that a competition for the New Year theme gathered a huge number of participants. She thanked the children for their creativity and for developing their abilities - they are engaged in artistic circles and studios, they notice the beautiful in the surrounding world.

Deputy of the Supreme Council Oleg Vasilaty, in turn, noted that the guys gave the ocean an all-New Year mood, and called on everyone to participate in new creative projects. Teacher of the Tiraspol children's art school Natalia Zabolotnaya, speaking on behalf of the jury of the contest, said that the sent drawings were pleased with both the technique and the subjects.

Figures were evaluated in three age categories and in three categories: "New Year's Tales", "My Family in the New Year", "New Year's Landscapes".
