Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Semyon Afyan and member of the Central Election Commission of Nagorno-Karabakh Arayk Lazaryan visited the Information Center of the PMR CEC. Representatives of the Republic of Artsakh arrived in Pridnestrovie as international observers at the presidential elections. In addition to the Information Center, international observers visited the polling stations in Tiraspol and Grigoriopol, the website of the PMR CEC reports.
At the press conference, representatives of Nagorno-Karabakh noted that a festive atmosphere reigned at the polling stations.
Araik Lazaryan, member of the Central Election Commission of Nagorno-Karabakh, noted that expanding the list of grounds for early voting is a good decision of the PMR CEC. He emphasized that the specialists of the Republic of Artsakh have a lot to learn from the Pridnestrovians.
Almost 8 thousand residents of the republic took part in the presidential elections during six days of early voting. This is an additional burden on precinct election commissions of course. Organization of elections and creation of conditions for the implementation of electoral rights of Pridnestrovians is now the main task, added the head of the CEC of the PMR.
Advisor to the First Deputy Chairperson of the Supreme Court of the PMR Irina Simachenko said in the course of the press conference that 8 Pridnestrovians applied to the court.
