Employees and veterans of the judicial branch of Pridnestrovie, as well as honored guests, including Presidential Advisor Pavel Prokudin, First Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Kirova, the Supreme Council Deputy Grigory Dyachenko gathered in the hall of the capital's Palace of Culture.
The solemn meeting is dedicated to the Day of foundation of the Judicial System of the PMR. On January 14, 1992, the Supreme Court was established by a decision of the Supreme Council. Thus, the foundation was laid for the formation of the judicial system of our state.
Adrian Penkovsky, Chairman of the PMR Supreme Court, delivered a welcoming speech to his colleagues. He noted that the judicial authorities of Pridnestrovie began to form from the first years of the existence of our young state. In 1991, the Arbitration Court was formed, a year later - the Supreme Court, and already in 2002 the Constitutional Court was formed. In this form, the judiciary in our republic exists to this day.
Adrian Penkovsky particularly noted the work of secretaries, assistants, consultants, and employees of the Judicial Department, without which the full functioning of the judicial system is impossible. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court expressed deep gratitude to the President, the deputy corps and the government for their support and mutual understanding.
Advisor to the President Pavel Prokudin read out the welcoming address of the head of state, in which Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized the special role of the Supreme Court in the formation of judicial practice in our state.
On behalf of the Chairman of the Supreme Council, the judiciary was congratulated by parliamentarian Grigory Dyachenko. The welcoming address noted that the judicial system has always been an important area of state activity, the main task of which is the realization of the legal rights of citizens to judicial protection.
After the solemn part of the event, a festive concert was organized for representatives of the judiciary with the participation of creative teams
