The 2025 Republican Regatta is taking place in the capital

The capital's rowing base is hosting "The President's Family – for Healthy Lifestyle" Republican Rowing Regatta for the fourth time. Based on the results of the first race "The Supreme Dragon" Supreme Council team reached the top four in its group No. 3: civil bodies of state power and administration.

The team captain – the Chairman of the Supreme Council – is pleased with the result of the first race. "The Supreme Dragon" broke out ahead from the start and overtook its rival – the team of the State Service for Environmental Control and Environmental Protection – at the finish. Results of the 350-meter race: Supreme Council – 1.19.33, State Environmental Control Service – 1.30.25.

52 teams took part in the regatta in total. The organizers divided them into 6 groups:

Group 1 – law enforcement agencies;

Group 2 – enterprises, organizations, institutions;

Group 3 – civil authorities and administration bodies;

Group 4 – student groups;

Group 5 – schoolchildren;

Group 6 – women's teams.

There are 14 teams in the civil authorities group. The 8 best of them, based on the results of the races, will compete for a place in the semi-finals of the regatta.

There are over 600 participants in the 2025 Republican Regatta in total – civil servants, officials, deputies, and employees of enterprises. They changed their suits and work clothes for sportswear today and taking the oars, they strove for victory, first of all, for victory over themselves, since a few years ago the participants did not know that they would love rowing.

The Supreme Council team is performing for the third time in its current composition. "The Supreme Dragon" won bronze in the autumn regatta in Bendery. speaker Alexander Korshunov answered to the question "what makes you go out on the water and participate in competitions every time" that team spirit, teamwork and, of course, your own health, which will allow you to effectively carry out management tasks and management decisions.

The Supreme Council team includes staff members and deputy Pavel Shinkaryuk. This is the second regatta for the parliamentarian. Pavel Shinkaryuk supports a healthy lifestyle like other team members.

"Supreme Dragon" has thoroughly prepared for this regatta. In addition to regular training, amateur rowers have developed their own logo. All team members are wearing T-shirts with a dragon.

The fans supported their teams on the shore. Together with the staff of the parliamentary apparatus, the deputy of the Supreme Council, the chairman of the Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare Sergey Cheban came to cheer for the "Supreme Dragon". The youngest but constant fan Anna Denisyuk also came with a poster in support of the team.

"The Supreme Dragon" reached the top four along with the Presidential Administration. The Supreme Council team will start the competition in the quarterfinals in the afternoon and will compete for a place in the semifinals with the team of the Rybnitsa State Administration.

The team of the city administration of Bendery showed a good result in the competition, among the participants is the deputy of the Bendery city council Vyacheslav Nazarov. According to him, participation in the races on "dragons" is good for health.

The team from Bendery will compete with the team of the state administration of Tiraspol for a place in the semifinals.
