Energy security issues were discussed at the meeting with the President

The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky heard the state administrations heads’ reports on the state of affairs at the local level in the course of the traditional video conference. The heads of towns and districts of the republic informed about the implementation of instructions related to ensuring energy security and preparatory measures in the event of a reduction or cessation of gas supplies to the republic, the press service of the President reports. The Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov and the head of the parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Viktor Guzun took part in the meeting.

The alternative types of fuel procurement issues as well as creating conditions for its use were discussed by the meeting participants. For example, they talked about the possibility of installing equipment in two large social institutions, which is currently idle at the PRR facilities.They reported on the provision of a sand-salt mixture and the availability of equipment for spreading it along the roads of the republic, taking into consideration the seasonal change in weather conditions.

The head of Tiraspol reported on the resumption of trolleybus traffic on routes No. 1 and No. 6, and that cook students completing an accelerated course of study are undergoing practical training in eight educational institutions of the capital.

The report of the mayor of Bendery included information that a significant amount of work on repairing sidewalks and courtyards has been completed in the city this year. 11.5 thousand square meters of public areas in residential areas have been put in order. 6 million rubles have been spent on these purposes.

The President asked about progress in expanding the infrastructure of the customs checkpoint "Bendery-Chisinau". Roman Ivanchenko reported  that design work is underway.

Adjusting the schedule for opening city Christmas trees were discussed in the course of the meeting. The changes are related to weather conditions. The celebrations were held in Bendery, Rybnitsa, Kamenka. The rest are still deciding on dates. The population will be informed about the decision in advance.
