At the regional level

The legislature held a working meeting on establishing links with Russian regions at the municipal level. It was attended by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry Viktor Guzun, heads of the representative and executive bodies of Tiraspol and Bendery.

This is the second meeting on this topic. The beginning of the establishment of integration ties was made by the February visit of the parliamentary delegation of the Supreme Council to Moscow consisting of Alexander Shcherba, Galina Antyfeeva, Victor Guzun and Alexander Korshunov. Pridnestrovian parliamentarians held a number of meetings in Moscow regional and Moscow municipal dumas. Principled agreement was reached to start cooperation between the two largest constituent entities of the Russian Federation and Pridnestrovie.

At the same time, as it was repeatedly noted in the course of the Moscow meetings and today's meeting, the potential is the interaction at the level of the municipalities of Pridnestrovie, the cities of Moscow region and the administrative and territorial districts of Moscow. The participants of the meeting spoke about the need to prepare framework agreements on cooperation, their concrete content, plans for the near future.
