To the joy of children of Bendery and their parents

30.06.2017

Two abandoned excavations were located for a long time under the windows of apartment houses in the park along Timiryazev Street in Bendery. During the Soviet era, it was planned to build multi-storey houses. After the collapse of the USSR, the construction site stopped. Orphaned pits filled with household and construction debris. Deputy of the Supreme Council, representing the interests of resident of Bendery in the legislature, Anton Onufrienko recalls that during hot summer days, it was unbearable for residents not to walk in the neighborhood, but simply to open windows.

The situation was corrected in a short time. It was again developed in the courtyard building. The picture, which was observed for a long time by residents of houses along Timiryazev Street, has changed beyond recognition. There was a cozy square instead of a garbage dump here: planted trees and bushes, installed a children's playground, paved paths. On the initiative of the deputy of the Supreme Council Anton Onufrienko, his assistants and with the support of the state administration of the city of Bendery, the square was manicured.

Swings and a hill in the playground were chosen by children of Bendery. The Vlasov brother and sister live in the next house. The guys every day come to the park to rest, play and make new friends.

Another gift, which residents of the neighborhood will receive in the near future, is a renovated sports ground.

The construction of the sports ground is planned to be completed by the end of the year.
