The reception of citizens on personal issues was held by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov. Residents of Tiraspol and nearby villages enrolled in the reception to the Speaker of the Parliament.
Special attention is traditionally the problems of socially vulnerable categories of the population. A resident of the village of Kremenchug Elena Dorosheva came to an appointment with Alexander Korshunov. Her parents are pensioners. They often have to go to Tiraspol for healthcare reasons. Pensioners who have reached the retirement age are entitled to free travel by all types of public transport (with the exception of passenger taxes) on urban, as well as suburban routes to the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic within the limits determined by the current legislation according to the norms of the law “On the Social Protection of Veterans and Persons of retirement age”. However, the parents of Elena Dorosheva cannot fully use this right.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Korshunov, replied that such a problem in the republic has existed for a long time. They know about her and are looking for solutions. For several years, all relevant ministries and departments have developed an effective mechanism for taking into account the transportation of preferential passengers in public transport.
The ASOP system has already been tested on city electric vehicles and showed its effectiveness. Validators were installed in minibuses a few months ago. According to the developers, the new fare payment system will not only simplify the fare and allow you to fairly collect taxes, but also adjust the mechanism for the exercise of the right to preferential passage for all 34 categories of citizens to which this benefit is laid.
Pensioners and other citizens entitled to preferential travel will be able to use this right when the automated system begins to work fully regardless of whether they purchased a ticket at the cash desk of a bus station or got into public transport at a bus stop, Alexander Korshunov explained.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council explained that all pensioners who receive money for a bank card are in the database of the Ministry of Social Protection and Labor. These data are already in a single database of beneficiaries.
They addressed questions about the nuances in the mechanism for paying utility bills and the rules of land management and land use as part of the admission of citizens to the Speaker of the Parliament. Each applied was explained in detail about the possible options for solving their problems within the framework of the current legislation.
The head of the legislative authority of Pridnestrovie noted that a personal reception is not only an opportunity to help a specific person. This is a feedback that allows you to see where there are malfunctions in the system, and what legislative or managerial measures must be taken to eliminate them.
