Meeting of legislators with Russian colleague Alexander Yaroshuk was held at the parliamentary site. He came to Pridnestrovie to meet with his voters and to communicate with the participants of the Pridnestrovian youth forum "Tiras-2019".

Member of the lower house of the Russian parliament, Alexander Yaroshuk, was elected deputy on September 9, 2018 during the by-election. Pridnestrovians gave voices in his support. At present, the Russian legislator represents our interests in the State Duma. He is a United Russia member of the Duma Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship. Before being elected to the State Duma, he was the mayor of Kaliningrad. Three diplomas: Kaliningrad Higher Naval School, St. Petersburg International Management Institute and the North-West Academy of Public Administration. One more interesting detail of the biography of Alexander Yaroshuk: he is included in the managerial personnel reserve of the President of Russia.

In April, Alexander Korshunov, Chairman of the Supreme Council, met Alexander Yaroshuk during his visit to the capital of Russia. The Russian deputy expressed his intention to visit our republic and talk with voters. Today, plans have become a reality. The first meeting is at the parliament site.

Welcoming the guest, Alexander Korshunov expressed his gratitude for all that he had already managed to do in such a short time. This series includes the implementation of a number of projects on the territory of Pridnestrovie, the promotion of the theme of preparing and holding hearings on Pridnestrovie in the Russian parliament.

The head of the profile committee, Mikhail Burla, raised the topic of establishing close contacts between PSU and Kaliningrad University, noting the importance of this area, taking into account the similarity of the conditions of activity of the two universities due to territorial characteristics.

At the end of the meeting, the Speaker of the Pridnestrovian parliament presented Alexander Yaroshuk with a departmental award of the Supreme Council - the honorary sign “For contribution to the cause of parliamentarism”.
