The parliamentarian, who represents the interests of Pridnestrovians in the legislature of the Russian Federation Artem Turov met with the President of the republic, according to the official presidential website.

Artem Turov maintains regular working contacts with the leadership of the Pridnestrovian state, colleagues - deputies of the Supreme Council of the PMR, compatriots residing in the territory of Pridnestrovie. In the course of the meeting, a number of topical issues affecting the interests of Pridnestrovian citizens were discussed. They talked about the importance of resolving the issues raised by residents of our republic during the election campaign, people's receptions and meetings. The possibility of obtaining Russian citizenship by compatriots and the use of maternity capital on the territory of Pridnestrovie - these issues are on the constant control of people's deputies. Initiatives, formed in close cooperation with the Pridnestrovian parliamentarians, are being worked out on the State Duma platform. Vadim Krasnoselsky and Artem Turov exchanged views on certain aspects related to their adoption and implementation. We discussed other topics related to the development of the Pridnestrovian-Russian relations.

Preparing for election to the Russian parliament, State Duma deputy Artem Turov discussed at the meeting with the chairman of the PMR CEC Elena Gorodetskaya. The parliamentarian got acquainted with the information materials used in Pridnestrovie during the presidential elections in Russia, the news agency News Pridnestrovie reported. According to the head of the Central Election Commission, new ways of informing allowed to increase voter turnout in March 2018.
