Parliament completed work on the law "On the fixed agricultural tax." The amendments were produced by a group of deputies of the Supreme Council, were adopted in the second final reading. The document provides an opportunity to pay a fixed agricultural tax (FAT) to all agricultural producers, regardless of whether the system of taxation founded Agriculture Organization applied before 1 January 2015. Earlier a special tax regime, replacing the payment of the unified social tax, land, and housing maintenance tax and socio-cultural sphere, operated from 1 January 2004 to 1 January 2015. After that use the FAT could only newly created agricultural enterprises.

According to the adopted amendments, the simplified taxation system will be effective until January 1, 2021. Allocation mechanism of deductions to the Unified Social Insurance Fund in respect of those farmers who currently use the FAT was prescribed. Those who first move to the simplified tax system will have to send contributions to the EGFSS of 250 MW.
