The Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Ilona Tyuryaeva, deputies of the city council and voluntary assistants collected several months the exhibits for it throughout the constituency number 28. After all, the main task in the museum-room of the veteran organization is the preservation of memory. This is about the veterans of the Great Patriotic War who have already passed away and about those who are alive, but due to their advanced age and the consequences of combat wounds, they almost never leave the house. So the veterans could not come to the opening of the museum, but their children came. Nelli Mikhailovna Deli brought a portrait of her father, Mikhail Morozov. This year, along with Victory Day, the veteran of the Great Patriotic War will celebrate his 100th anniversary. He was 18 in 1941. The young man was not drafted into the army then. His native village in the Vinnitsa region was occupied by the Nazis. He learned the art of guerrilla warfare instead of training grounds. Morozov was a signal troop soldier, and the parental home became a safe house. He with his grandmother Nelli Mikhailovna, almost died shortly before the liberation of his native village.
The former signal troop soldier of the Ukrainian partisans left to fight in the war in the spring of 1944 with the arrival of Soviet troops in the Vinnitsa region. He met Victory in Romania. He moved in Tiraspol to live and work then. Mikhail Morozov gathered guests at his home on May 9 – front-line friends and colleagues many years, as long as his health allowed. They always raised the first toast to Victory, only then – for the birthday man himself. For families who survived the grief, pain and loss that the Great Patriotic War brought, May 9 is forever associated with the joy of Victory and the end of heavy fighting.
