The Instant Population Census

The census is conducted in Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic from 14 to 25 October under the slogan "We appreciate everyone". Russian Federation helped with the allocation of funds for its implementation. Last census in our country took place in 2004. The arrival of census takers to the first persons of the state is a kind of advertising of this important social event, an example for other citizens. Census in the office of the Chairman of the Supreme Council Mikhail Burla today held the deputy chief of the State Statistics Service of census Alena Sokolova. However, as scientist and economist, noted the census does not capture some important demographic indicators, such, for example, as fertility, mortality, migration / emigration and internal displacement.

It is expected that the preliminary results of the census - 2015 will be announced in the spring of 2016, and the final will be announced by the end of next year.
