The plenary session of the Youth Parliament under the Supreme Council of the PMR was held on October 11. Young parliamentarians discussed proposals to amend the Labor Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The initiative is aimed at ensuring an unambiguous understanding of the "business qualities of an employee" term, based on the definitions used in Russian legislation.
The law-in-draft received unanimous support. Deputies of the Youth Parliament consider that such initiatives are important for protecting the rights of young professionals who face difficulties in finding employment. The parliamentarians notes, clearer legal definitions governing work responsibilities will help them do this.
The law-in-draft will be sent to the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for further study and consideration after the discussion.
