Youth Parliament: Young people are eager to make the world a better place

Representatives of the active youth of Pridnestrovie spoke about the role played by the youth organizations of the republic in the life of the Pridnestrovian society. Members of the youth election commissions, the Youth Parliament, the TUI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Union of People's Diplomats took part in the online forum. They made reports and shared their experience in cultural and spiritual education of the Pridnestrovian youth, the website of the CEC of the PMR writes.

Among the participants of the online conference were the Deputy Chairman of the Youth Parliament of the PMR Dmitry Prokhorenko and the Head of the MP Committee on Social Policy and Health Yulia Kotsofan.

Dmitry Prokhorenko said in a comment to the parliamentary press service that the presented report was devoted to the consideration and study of the impact of coronavirus on the development of youth policy and the work of the Youth Parliament.

Chairperson of the Youth Parliament Committee on Social Policy and Health Yulia Kotsofan added that the report touched upon the main impact of quarantine restrictions on the social life of young people. In addition, they suggested ways of solving some problems and indicated the importance of the role of the state in the lives of young people in such a difficult time.

The Head of the MP Committee on Social Policy and Health, as a future doctor, added that the possibility of telecommuting has become an important measure to preserve the health of citizens of the republic.
