The Youth Parliament of the IV convocation is ready to start work

Acceptance of applications to the Youth Parliament of the IV convocation began in April. It was necessary to collect a package of documents, fill out a candidate's questionnaire and decide on what quota to run for the Youth Parliament. In the IV convocation, the representative body under the Supreme Council is formed in three directions:

- students of universities in Pridnestrovie;

- representatives of youth organizations and parties;

- representatives of cities and regions.

As a result, the Youth Parliament of the new convocation will include:

- 7 university students (6 - PSU and 1 - Tiraspol Interregional University);

- 13 representatives of cities and districts (Tiraspol - 5 people, Bendery - 1, Slobodzeya district - 2, Grigoriopol district - 1, Dubossary district - 1, Rybnitsa district - 2, Kamenka district - 1);

- 21 representatives of public organizations and parties. Applications were submitted by the Renewal Party, the Zvezda (Star) movement, the Victory Volunteers, the Young Republic, the Pridnestrovian People's Forum, People's Action and the Youth Project.

The Youth Parliament will include 41 deputies totally. There were more candidates from parties and social movements. Candidates who were not included in the main composition were added to the reserve.

Two quotas for the Bendery city council remain undeclared according to the parliamentarian. They can also be filled out in a competitive manner.

The first organizational plenary meeting of the 1st session of the 4th Youth Parliament will be held next week. Young parliamentarians will determine the structure of parliament and leadership.
