On the Victory Day, the young guards gave in the Russian cities the copies of "The Pravda" newspaper dated May 9, 1945, to preserve the true history of World War II. The action was initiated by representatives of South Ossetia in the course of the meeting of youth leaders of the CIS countries at the Federal Educational Forum MGER. Young people from Italy, Pridnestrovie and CIS countries joined the action.
So, the youth distributed about 600 copies of the newspaper in the center of Rome and the airport of Rome. Copies of the newspaper were distributed on the central streets of Tiraspol and other major cities of the republic in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The mass event started on May 7 during the traditional "Zemlyanka" in the capital, distributed the newspaper's number and at the military parade on the main square of Tiraspol. Young people in South Ossetia distributed more than 1,000 copies of the newspaper in the center of Tskhinval. In Sukhum (Abkhazia), youth activists gave passers-by copies of the newspaper on the central streets. The action was carried out by activists of the "Young Guard" in a number of regions in the Russian Federation. May 8, the newspaper with a long-awaited proclamation of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War could get residents of Moscow on Triumfalnaya and Manezhnaya squares, as well as metro stations "Pushkinskaya" and "Victory Park." May 6 distribution of copies of the newspaper was held in the Republic of Tatarstan. The Young Guards distributed over 1,000 copies in the Victory Park of Kazan.

A memorable copy of the newspaper was available to residents of the Omsk region. The Young Guards distributed "The Pravda" to the Russians together with the St. George ribbons. Citizens of Yekaterinburg were able to see the pages of the victorious issue of the newspaper in the Sverdlovsk region. In honor of the celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Bryansk regional department of the MGER distributed copies of The Pravda dated May 9, 1945.
