"Participation of Pridnestrovian youth in state policy: problems and prospects" round table, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, was held at the Pridnestrovian State University. The event brought together representatives of state authorities, the youth parliament, public organizations, students and schoolchildren.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the current role of youth in the political processes of the republic and find out how to activate the participation of young people in the formation of the political agenda. The round table was moderated by the Department of Public and Municipal Administration and the Youth Parliament of Pridnestrovie. One of the initiators of the meeting was Tatyana Zalevskaya, Head of the Department of Public and Municipal Administration and Chairperson of the Council of People's Deputies of Slobodzeya District and Slobodzeya.
The participants discussed during the round table, how young people can express themselves in political life. Young people no longer view politics as something distant and abstract. Today's students, activists and leaders of public movements actively participate in political debates and are not afraid to offer bold and innovative solutions to improve life in the republic.
The meeting participants paid special attention to the importance of dialogue between young people and current politicians. Students, activists and government officials agreed on one thing: it is necessary to create platforms for exchanging experiences, where young people can express their ideas and make proposals on important issues that concern the future of the republic. Such events help young people not only understand the complexity of political processes, but also become active participants in them.
