The youth round table on the theme “The Role of the Russian Federation in the Settlement of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian Conflict” in the continuation of the Primakov Meetings, was held at the Pridnestrovian State University. Attache of the Russian Embassy in Moldova Kirill Abramov and project coordinator of Rossotrudnichestvo Nikolai Zhuravlev took part in the round table.
Greetings in a video message to the audience were addressed by a former graduate of PSU, and now Deputy of the State Duma of Russia Alena Arshinova.
Rector of PSU Stepan Beryl noted that, gathering at such round tables, young people are contributing to the common cause of the people of Pridnestrovie.
A report on the key tasks of Russia's foreign policy in the Pridnestrovian direction was prepared by representatives of the Pridnestrovian Youth Parliament. This work is based on the challenges that have been spelled out in the framework of the Strategy for Scientific and Technical Development of the Russian Federation.
In the course of the round table, reports were presented on the topics “Pridnestrovie in the system of geopolitical interests of Russia”, “Political and humanitarian assistance to the Russian Federation”, “Peacekeeping operation of Russia in Pridnestrovie”.
