Young people need to be interested

A meeting of leaders of youth organizations, including "The Youth Project", "Orthodox youth of Pridnestrovie", "The Heirs of the Victory", "Young Russia", etc. was held under the auspices of the Parliamentary Committee on Public Associations, Sports, Information and Youth Policy at the Supreme Council. It was also attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of education, PSU. They talked about coordination of efforts of young people for good deeds. Military-patriotic education of the younger generation was at the focus. The more, that the task of strengthening it was set before the state authorities of the Republic at the enlarged session of the Government by President Vadim Krasnoselsky.

Representatives of non-governmental organizations were informed that at present the Ministry of Education continues to work on the project development concept of youth policy. Leaders of youth organizations expressed a desire to become acquainted with it, to make proposals, discussed at public hearing with a view to the future workable document. In the course of the meeting they told about establishment of cooperation between youth groups and state power, creating a registry of existing youth organizations, public associations grant support, and allocation of space where young people could gather and hold events of various kinds, measures to support young people by the state.
