Young people should create their own future

The concept of youth policy is one of the most important state documents. This is where the basic problem in the sphere of civil, patriotic and spiritual and moral education of children and youth. Today's meeting noted: the law, defining the strategy for the development of the youth policy of Pridnestrovie, was adopted many years ago. Today, most of the provisions are outdated.

According to the young parliamentarians, it is necessary to examine the current strategy and on the basis of the experience of the Russian Federation, to prepare their proposals. This instruction was given today to all committees of the Youth Parliament.

Young people told about the current political situation in Pridnestrovie, on the eve of presidential elections, the inadmissibility of repetition in our country of the tragic events in the Maidan, where the youth has become a tool in the realisation of insurrection in Ukraine. Youth deputies urged young people not to succumb to provocations and calls aimed at undermining the political situation.

Youth Parliament supported the earlier decision by members of the Consultative Assembly of First Pridnestrovian Deputies decision in which the founders of the republic urged Pridnestrovians to take an active part in the fate of the state.Youth Parliament deputies summed up during today's meeting. Much has been done for 10 months : flash mobs were organized, children were involved in the events for the anniversary of a national referendum in 2006, as well as in the action "Immortal regiment", a representative of the Youth Parliament took part in the summit of the student leaders of the CIS countries, also developed amendments to the laws. The work will continue in 2017: young deputies are planning to actively participate in lawmaking, interacting with their older colleagues deputies.
