Multifunctional stadium for residents of the Oktyabrsky microdistrict

Works on the reconstruction of the stadium near school No. 18 in Tiraspol started. The construction of football field is underway at the moment. Workers make formwork to concrete around the perimeter of the planned site. There will be a basketball and volleyball court near the football field. The plans for this year are to equip a run track. The stadium is being reconstructed at the expense of the Capital Investment Fund. The republican budget allocated 3 million rubles for these purposes. The territory is included in the program on the initiative of the Deputy of the Supreme Council Andrey Mezhinsky. He represents the interests of the residents of the "Komsomolsky" constituency No. 32, where the stadium is located. Physical education classes have been held on it for schoolchildren since Soviet times. The stadium has always been and remains a point of attraction for local residents. It will take on a new look in two years. The work will be carried out in stages.

The stadium will have places for playing table tennis, gazebos, and modern equipment for outdoor training will be installed according to the project. The work is carried out by the same contractor who built the Catherine Park and the stadium behind the humanitarian and mathematical gymnasium. There will be the same beautiful resting place as in the city center instead of the current wasteland and old horizontal bars in the Oktyabrsky microdistrict soon.

The news about the beginning of the reconstruction of the stadium was published in the "Okrug Komsomolsky" Viber group. Residents of the district are asking for a small roller skating area. The cost estimate for next year will be discussed in the course of the republican budget 2022 adoption. 2.5 million rubles will be required to complete the work planned for the project according to preliminary calculations.
