MMP: what would the Accounting Chamber tell?

Accounting Chamber voiced the results of control activities carried out on behalf of the Supreme Council in respect of the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant. The information is presented in closed session. This is a decision of Inspectorate for Protection of State Secrets under the President.

Without disputing the need to comply with the law, deputies, anticipating the report of the management of the Accounting Chamber, nevertheless commented on the classification of information.

Deputies talked about the fact that MMP - state-owned enterprise, which means that citizens of the republic, taxpayers should be aware of the activities of the plant. Of particular relevance, this issue is in the light of the previously uncovered during the audit of the Accounts Chamber and deputy investigations gray schemes and violations. Alexander Martynov, in turn, drew attention to the fact that the Moldovan Metallurgical Plant is not, for example, defense enterprise that could cause a failure to disclose information about its activities. He also recalled that in Russia the results of inspections of budget-enterprises are in the public domain.

The Legislation complied: Audit Chamber publishes closed information. Following the the controlling authority to report the Chairman of Economic Policy Committee Alexander Martynov, which is not protected by the law calling numbers, will make its findings on the basis of the heard information.
