Peaceful battles in memory of those killed in military engagements

It just so happened that, almost all cultural events for the past seven decades that have been held in the spring, dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War. 2015 Jubilee were not divided into seasons: Veterans remember and celebrate all year at various sites. Festivals, concerts, exhibitions, film premieres and performances, sports competitions occasioned with the 70th anniversary of the Victory. The traditional mini-football game, which is an initiative of the national union of veterans over the past ten years, was not an exception. If football battles took place earlier on the field of Chobruchi in memory only soldiers-internationalists, this time the game took dedication the Afghans, liberators of Slobodzeya district, and all the participants of the Great Patriotic War. Another innovation of this year – is the age of players. The game was positioned as veteran until now, (in the sense of sport veteran participation). This time, young people on a par with the older generation the cherished goals scored. Totally the match was attended by 12 teams from Tiraspol, Bender, Dnestrovsk, Slobodzeya and villages of the republic.

Vasily Moraru - the parliamentarian representing Slobodzeya district at the Parliament welcomed participants of the tournament on behalf of the Supreme Council. According to him, legislators usually also go to the football field, but the circumstances were such that this year representatives of the deputies are watching the game as fans. However, their contribution to the game is very important.

"Falcon" could not keep the leadership this year: they are the second. The veterans sport team Slobodzeya district was at the first step of the podium. "Bronze" went to the "Energy" from Dnestrovsk. All they will take trophies home.
