The Supreme Council received initiative signed by the chairman of the Council of People's Deputies of Bendery Yuri Kara, designed to further protect the citizens, affected from non-compliance with environmental and sanitary-epidemiological requirements for waste management, as well as rules for handling animals.
Under current legislation only officials of supervisory authorities have the right to draw up protocols on administrative violations. The law-in-draft proposed to delegate the drawing up of reports in the sphere to representatives of law enforcement agencies. The parliamentarians supported the idea.
Chairman of the responsible committee Efimy Koval informed that 10 positive conclusions, including the government (with comments) were received on the initiative.
The law-in-draft on amending the Code of Administrative Offences was adopted by the deputies in the first reading, taking into account comments and suggestions.
