Deputies of the Supreme Council Mikhail Burla and Oleg Belyakov took part in the presentation of the scientific information book "Politico-legal basis for the international recognition of the independence of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" held at the site of the country's main university. It joined the program of festive events dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the formation of our state. The presentation of the book novelty in two languages (Russian and English) was held in the format of an international round table.
The history of the publication of this monumental scientific work is as follows: on November 21, 2017 in Moscow, with the participation of the President of the Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky, an international round table meeting with the same title was held. It was held in the Federal Chamber of Advocates of the Russian Federation. At the conclusion of the Moscow round table, it was decided to publish a book that would include the reports, opinions and expert assessments, scientific work on the issue of the international recognition of Pridnestrovie. They went from words to the matter, and this year the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic with the assistance of the Moscow Bar Association "Manakov and Partners" and on the instructions of the head of state issued a scientific and information publication "Politico-legal basis for the international recognition of the independence of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" which was held at the PSU on the eve of the 28th anniversary of the creation of the Pridnestrovian statehood.
Among the guests of honor are Prime Minister Alexander Martynov, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Education, Science and Culture Mikhail Burla, colleague on the deputy corps, co-chairman of the JCC from Pridnestrovie Oleg Belyakov, foreign minister Vitaly Ignatyev, Russian lawyers, political scientists, historians, sociologists , journalists, all those who are interested in the history of the creation and development of our republic, the prospects for its recognition by the international community.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Vitaly Ignatiev read the greetings of President Vadim Krasnoselsky to the participants of the presentation. The President noted the great complex work of historians, international lawyers from Russia at the highest level.
Participants of the round table meeting were also welcomed by the Chairman of the Government Alexander Martynov.
Leonid Manakov, lawyer of the Moscow Bar Association "Manakov and Company", Candidate of Legal Sciences, Lieutenant-General, during the round table discussion noted that Pridnestrovie is an independent legal state that is a special example of self-determination.
Leonid Manakov said that a large team of lawyers worked on the book, which he called the masters of jurisprudence. He also said that Russian authors of the book intend to popularize it in the country's universities, among political parties and in other institutions of civil society.
On behalf of the Supreme Council, the head of the parliamentary committee for education, science and culture, deputy head of the Parliamentary Committee for Education, Science and Culture, addressed the participants of the roundtable "Political and Legal Basis of International Recognition of Independence of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" dedicated to the publication of the book of the same name; Deputy Chairman of the parliamentary commission on foreign policy and international relations, Mikhail Burla made speech.
In support of these words, the candidate of geography Mikhail Burla cited figures. According to him, there were 61 states on the political map of the world in 1900, now there are more than 190 of them.
The electronic version of the book "Politico-legal basis for the international recognition of the independence of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic" will be posted on the official website of the PMR Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In the course of the international roundtable, Vitaly Ignatyev, the foreign minister of the republic, handed several copies of the book to the rector of the St. Petersburg State University, Stepan Beryl, for distribution among the partner universities in Russia, South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
