Mikhail Burla, "Each of us is dependent on what is happening in the geopolitical space"

The First Pridnestrovian International School "Geopolitics and regional security" was launched. The intellectual debate, organized by the State University with the assistance of Pridnestrovian Foreign Ministry and Russian Institute of Strategic Research, will last three days - from 2 to 5 October. Scheduled lectures by leading experts RISS and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PMR, as well as representatives of the faculty of the PSU named after Shevchenko and NRU "Higher School of Economics". 35 out of the hundreds of received applications for participation were satisfied. Students are - graduate students, young university teachers of Pridnestrovie, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova. At the end of a three-day scientific and educational marathon participants of the first international school of Pridnestrovie will be awarded certificates.

The first day of school the Chairman of the Supreme Council was actively involved in the discussion, which is the parliamentary activities carried out in parallel with research and teaching. Mikhail Burla is the head of the Department of Social and Economic Geography and Regional PSU. He is the first co-author of the geopolitical map. He has written numerous articles, affecting various aspects of the relationship in the geopolitical sphere.

Speaking about the current situation of Pridnestrovie, the head of the legislature referred to a time when our region was considered very successful from a geopolitical point of view of location.
