We choose sport

The 11th Sports Olympics among the employees of the state authorities started. Among the participants there are teams of the Administration of the President, the Government, the Supreme Council, ministries and departments, an operational group of Russian troops. 23 teams expressed desire to compete for the title of the best in various sports.

The inauguration of the competitions took place at the capital's stadium. Welcoming speech addressed to the participants was sent by the President Vadim Krasnoselsky. It emphasizes the importance of sport, and also notes that such competitions allow one to feel part of a single team. The participants were congratulated by the head of the State Service for Sport, Vyacheslav Sokolenko.

Sparkling warm-up helped participants to overcome the excitement before the start and tune in to win. The competition was opened by the "queen of sport" - light athletics. The teams took part in the relay race. Then they played minifootball, volleyball, table tennis, competed for accuracy in darts. A little later, it is planned to hold competitions in arm-wrestling.

Deputy Vadim Kravchuk is among the members of the team of the Supreme Council. The captain of the team of the Supreme Council, the chairman of the team Eugene Saprykin told how they were preparing for the competition.

The competition will continue tomorrow. Teams will be able to compete in tug of war.
