We are bound by a common destiny and history

Members of the parliamentary delegation of Russia, representatives of three factions of the Duma - "United Russia", "Fair Russia", LDPR - at the end of the visit to Tiraspol and the work of the 8th Congress of the "Obnovlenie" met with representatives of local and foreign media. They summed up during the briefing the short visit to Pridnestrovian land, shared their impressions of communication with the inhabitants of the republic and participation in activities within the framework of the visit, including the party forum leading political forces of the republic, which has a parliamentary majority.

Anatoly Sikorsky - the representative of Russia's oldest party association, a member of the Duma committee on land relations and construction, who was born in Izmail, that was released by Suvorov the founder of Tiraspol told about the continued support of the people of the Pridnestrovie by Russian Liberal Democratic Party during the dialogue with journalists. He recalled that the party leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who sent greetings to the delegates of the 8th Party Congress, "Obnovlenie", has always advocated the speedy legal recognition of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Russia should be the first to recognize the republic. Anatoly Sikorsky drew the attention of the mass media on a high level of patriotism in Pridnestrovie. This, according to him, is due to the constant overcoming of difficulties.

Journalists were interested in attitude of Russian deputies towards the program "Strategy 2025" developed in 2011. According to them, the long-term planning document is not finished, but shelved, work on its adoption and implementation will be continued. Parliamentarians from Russia are confident that the program will be given a new impetus, which will promote our products to the Russian market. The State Duma deputies were able to make sure by visiting during the visit a number of Pridnestrovian enterprises that it is of excellent quality.

The Duma deputy Sergei Kuzin summed up the visit by the words "Not only Pridnestrovie need Russia, but Russia need Pridnestrovie".
