We glorify the Republic

Solemn meeting, convened on the eve of the Republic Day, became an integral part of the calendar of festive events. This time the musical fanfares that were heard under the arches of the big hall of the Palace of the Republic announced the next, 28th anniversary of the historical struggle of the Pridnestrovians for independence, the sovereignty and international recognition of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

The screen shows black and white shots about the creation, protection and establishment of the Pridnestrovian statehood, in the hall - those who are most directly involved in this historical process, including deputies of the Supreme Council of different generations.

Traditionally, the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky made a festive report. The content of the speech of the President echoed the participants of the solemn meeting on the screen: the prerequisites and peculiarities of the creation of their own state, its national essence, resistance to nationalism, referendums, as the supreme instrument of democracy.

The President noted that the main phenomenon of Pridnestrovie is the people.

The President in the report at the solemn meeting spoke about the positive trends in the development of the state, the difficulties faced by the Pridnestrovians, the challenges facing the whole society.

There is an increase in trade turnover and serious progress in attracting investments in the economy. Thanks to the adoption of new laws, the creation of an investment agency and an Internet portal, several foreign investors have already come to the republic. Reduction of administrative barriers and simplification of business conditions, according to the President, contributed to the creation of more than 4.5 thousand new jobs.

The President focused on the social sphere. He recalled that for almost two years a number of communal tariffs for the population had been frozen in the republic, and a tariff policy for enterprises was equalized. The President recalled the program of affordable housing, the prospects for the development of agriculture, health and sports.

In conclusion, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the republic had overcome many trials, but it survived only because its inhabitants were united.

The birthday of the republic was also congratulated by the first President, Chairman of the Consultative Meeting of the First Pridnestrovian Deputies under the Chairman of the Supreme Council Igor Smirnov.

Russian guests – the president of the Union of Advocates of Russia Alexey Galaganov, deputy executive director of the Russkiy Mir Foundation Sergei Shurygin, also made congratulations and wishes.

As always the participants of the solemn meeting dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the republic's formation were congratulated by the creative collectives of Pridnestrovie. The final song was symbolic - "I, you, he, she, together - a whole country".
