Martisor - Holiday of Spring

Dear Pridnestrovians!

On behalf of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the holiday of spring - Martisor!

Martisor harbors amazing legends, an inexhaustible storehouse of folk art and marks the arrival of spring - the season with which hopes for renewal and faith in the best are always associated.

The holiday expresses openness, sincerity and harmony in original, unusual form. It introduces us to the history of our native land, to the sources of folk wisdom, helping to realize the kinship of cultures of different nations, uniting people and raising the ideals of goodness and beauty.

On this spring day I want to wish you simple, but such important things: good health, love and happiness, a peaceful sky, attention and gratitude from loved ones! May the hope for a better future never leave us all, and may success be in any business!
