The events in honor of the Day of the Republic are taking place in all cities of the PMR

Solemn events took place in all cities in honor of the 34th anniversary of the formation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Deputies of the Supreme Council took part in it.

The events began with the laying of flowers in memory of the defenders who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Pridnestrovie in 1992.

The city leadership and deputies honored the memory of the heroes at the Memorial of Memory and Sorrow in Bendery. Citizens who contributed to the development of Bendery and Pridnestrovie were presented with state awards today.

Exhibitions, master classes and a festive concert program on Liberation Square have been prepared for residents of Bendery in honor of the Republic Day. There will be a disco in the evening, then the sky will be lit up by a festive fireworks display at 22:00.

The Republic Day celebration traditionally began with a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to the fallen defenders of Pridnestrovie in Slobodzeya. The ceremonial rally was held on Arkadnaya Square afterwards. Residents and guests of the city were congratulated by Pavel Shinkaryuk, the deputy of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for constituency Number 21 "Slobodzeya".

A concert of creative groups and soloists of the Houses of Culture of the Slobodzeya district began after the rally. An exhibition of decorative and applied arts of cultural institutions and additional education of the district, an exhibition of the Central District Library and the Slobodzeya Historical Museum were located on the central square. Master classes were prepared for children. A checkers tournament was organized for everyone. There will be a festive fireworks display after the evening festive concert on Arkadnaya Square at 21:30.

The grand opening of the Republic Day celebration took place on Victory Square in Dubossary. The event emphasized that about 80 ethnic communities live in Pridnestrovie, which develop and enhance the cultural heritage.

Young residents of Dubossary got their passports of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on the festive day. A bike ride started on the square, the participants of which visited memorial sites to lay flowers and honor the memory of the heroic defenders of the republic.

The city administration and deputies, defenders of the republic, representatives of public organizations, labor collectives, residents and guests of the city laid flowers at the Memorial of Military Glory.

"The Immortal Feat of Our Fellow Countrymen" flower-laying ceremony took place at the Memorial of Glory in Rybnitsa, in the morning. Residents of Rybnitsa and guests of the city were able to take part in master classes, entertainment and concert programs. Festive courtyards of the villages of the Rybnitsa district were deployed on Victory Square. A festive fireworks display will take place after the concert "I love you, my native land" at 21:00.
