Support measures - social and economic

Parliamentarians during the plenary session adopted in the second reading a law-in-draft on changing the norms of the law "On excises." The initiative was developed by the President of the Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky. We are talking about granting privileges for the payment of excise duty when importing motor vehicles to the territory of the republic by all categories of combatants who are equated to veterans of wars and are citizens of the republic. According to the current version of the law, currently only defenders of Pridnestrovie can use this privilege. After the new norm enters into force, all categories of combatants will be able to formalize the importation of the car free of charge.

Deputies in the regime of legislative necessity considered the law-in-draft "On state support of engineering organizations", which was also developed by the head of state. The President's legislative initiative provides for state support measures and a mechanism for their implementation with respect to the organizations of the machine-building industry.

Identified and social measures aimed at supporting employees of industrial enterprises, to whom there is debt for wages. Liabilities for its repayment remain with engineering organizations.

The legislative initiative of the head of state in the opinion of the deputies will allow in the coming years to resolve the situation in the machine-building industry, as well as to withdraw the engineering organizations from the crisis situation and restore their solvency, including tax deductions to the budget. The law-in-draft was adopted by parliamentarians in the first reading.

After discussing the legislations that came in the regime of legislative necessity, the parliamentarians considered the submissions of the PMR Prosecutor. Anatoly Guretsky appealed to the legislators with a request to consent to the involvement of Oleg Horzhan, the deputy of the Supreme Council, in administrative responsibility for violating the procedure established by law and conducting investigative actions for the commission of unlawful acts. The people's deputies made a positive decision on both issues.
