International relations through the Youth Parliament

Meeting of the Youth Parliament Commission for the Development of International Relations was held today at the Supreme Council. The ideas of public diplomacy among young people who work in the field of international relations, diplomacy, history and journalism are becoming more and more popular in Pridnestrovie at present. Young people are actively involved in strengthening humanitarian cooperation and public communication of our republic with foreign countries.

The head of the Commission for the Development of International Relations Vasily Badyan noted that the work of the Commission will be aimed at the formation and establishment of international contacts of the Youth Parliament, work in inter-parliamentary structures, relations with youth parliaments of other states.

Young parliamentarians discussed in the course of the commission meeting the development of international contacts with the Youth Parliaments of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the forthcoming meeting of the Commission on International Relations and the Presidium of the Youth Parliament at the PMR Ministry of Foreign Affairs on December 6, as well as interaction with the Contact Center of Pridnestrovian State University named after Taras Shevchenko on interaction with Rossotrudnichestvo.

The meeting participants expressed opinion that today it is necessary to highlight youth diplomacy as a priority area of ​​the international activities of the Youth Parliament. It is necessary to involve more representatives of the republic's youth in international projects, programs and events. One of the guidelines of the specialized commission of the Youth Parliament is the development of state program for the development of international youth cooperation.
