International event "Test on the history of the Fatherland"

This year, the event covered all regions of the Russian Federation and several dozen countries, including Pridnestrovie. More than 500 thousand people took part in it. The main theme of the test this year was the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

The event took place in the State Duma of Russia.

It is important for young people to understand and feel this historical interrelation, because it is they who will make decisions about the future of the country. According to Petr Tolstoy, Russia is not a country that can live by some sort of cliché borrowed from outside.

The chairman of the Youth Parliament at the State Duma, Maria Voropaeva, recalled that the action began as All-Russian - in 2015, about 80 thousand people took part in it.

The event is organized by the Public Youth Chamber (Youth Parliament) at the State Duma. For the purpose of patriotic education, preservation and popularization of historical knowledge, the formation of national identity among citizens of the Russian Federation, the Parliament has been implementing the federal project “Every Day I Am Proud of Russia” in 2015, under which this testing is being carried out.

More than 450 participants were able to test their knowledge at 12 sites open in all cities and regions in Pridnestrovie. The republic joined the Russian international project for the first time. As the organizers of the event, the Youth Parliament of the PMR, noted, this was made possible thanks to the support provided by the Pridnestrovian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko, Rossotrudnichestvo, the Department of Public Education of cities and districts, activists of the Youth Election Commission and the public movement "People's Action".
