Massagists will find it easier to realize the right to work

The deputy corps in the first reading adopted amendment to the law "On an individual entrepreneurial patent." The authors of the law-in-draft were the deputies of the Supreme Council Sergei Cheban, Ilya Vasilyev. Legislators proposed to share the concepts of medical and household massage.

As it was stated in the explanatory note to the law-in-draft, the main purpose of medical massage is "healing the body and facilitating its early recovery, so it must be performed only by a specialist who has a medical education and who graduated from the relevant massage courses". For example, anti-cellulite, sports, vacuum, Thai and acupressure are aimed at improving the aesthetic and psycho-emotional state.

In this regard, the law will prescribe a rule according to which the availability of a license and medical education for work on the patent will be necessary only for citizens performing medical massage. It will be possible to provide services of household massage after the termination of the specialized organizations without hindrance and without having a license and medical education.
