The Butter Week celebrations were held in the cities of Pridnestrovie

The Butter Week celebrations were held in the capital of Pridnestrovie. The city authorities tried to give a real holiday to citizens - with performances of creative groups and buffoons, fairs, competitions, various contests and refreshments. At the site of "Obnovlenie", organized with direct participation of the Vice-Speaker, leader of the "Obnovlenie" Galina Antyufeeva, one could take part in a win-win lottery, draw something on a festive theme on a special stand, take part in sports competitions and sing. By tradition, members of the party prepared main meal of the celebration, pancakes for the participants of the festival. They treated all comers to it. The capital city was crowded and fun, people congratulated each other on Forgiveness Sunday.

The Butter Week in Dnestrovsk was really wide and generous. Opening the festive event, Deputy of the Supreme Council PMR Victor Guzun and the head of the City State Administration Sergey Karyuk congratulated all on the holiday of Maslenitsa (Butter Week), wished success and prosperity to every family. The concert program included performances of Culture House creative groups from Dnestrovsk. Tug of war, jumping in sacks, and many others - contests and competitions were organized for children.

The city children's art groups, educational institutions, the Russian community and activists of the District "Youth Obnovlenie (Renewal)" took part in preparation for the Butter Week celebrations in Kamenka. The result was an unusually bright and colorful event. The help of deputy of the Supreme Council Valery Babchinetsky is of great value to the festival organization. They were treated to pancakes, circle dances, singing Russian songs and participated in fun. The farewell to winter - the burning of Carnival effigies was highlight for younger participants of the festival.
