"Memory is stronger than time" - this is not just the name of the national school essay contest, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This is the reality, which brings together young authors of creative works - great-grandchildren of the winners. The contest committee, composed of members of the Writers' Union of Pridnestrovie, studied 58 works. ​​They divided presented in different categories works in Russian, Moldovan, and Ukrainian languages into three categories depending on the age of the authors. One of the winners is a thirteen-year student of the school Kitskany Maria Kozhukhar. She proved by her work that there is no statute of limitations for memory. However, the victorious essay dedicated to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War is not the only work of Masha, which has become the pass to the podium, but the common thread with the past. Inspired by found information about the fate of the disappeared during the war, grandfather, Maria dedicated a poem to him.

20 columns are about the fearless defender of the Fatherland, about a widowed wife and orphaned son who never knew his father's arms heat, about grandchildren, not losing hope to find out anything about the missing heroic ancestor of the great-granddaughter, whose grandfather came in a dream ...The author work - a tribute to the memory of great-grandfather – did her the winner of the competition for young readers and poets "Living Word", which was attended by more than 250 lovers of poetry at the age of 7 to 18 years.

Along with the award in the capital, there was a honoring of the participants and winners of the two competitions and in other cities of the republic. Deserved awards found their talent heroes.
