Metallurgists celebrated their professional holiday the day before. A solemn meeting, a concert and an award of the best employees were timed to coincide with this important day at the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant. Among those who came to Rybnitsa to congratulate the metallurgists on the holiday were Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Galina Antyufeeva and Deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency number 18 "Popenksky" Valentin Matveychuk who is the Deputy General Director of the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant JSC.

General Director of Moldavian Metallurgical Plant Sergey Kornev addressed the audience at the solemn meeting timed to coincide with the professional holiday. He noted that today the plant rests on three pillars: this is personnel, the most expensive thing the enterprise has, this is equipment and the quality that Moldavian Metallurgical Plant can get thanks to its personnel and its technical support. The company is constantly working in these areas. A lot has been done, including this year.

The development of sports, gifts to families with many children, the opportunity to regularly undergo medical examinations, our own dispensary. The plant has always paid great attention to social issues. In addition, this year the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant helped ten of its employees to purchase 10 apartments on preferential terms. It is planned by the end of the year to buy five more apartments. After all, Rybnitsa and Moldavian Metallurgical Plant is one strong unit in fact. Every family in the city is somehow connected to this industrial giant.

As for technical development, only in the last year Moldavian Metallurgical Plant invested about 6 million dollars in its own modernization. This immediately affected the quality of the plant's products.

The general director of Moldavian Metallurgical Plant said that literally this weekend the overhaul was completed at the enterprise, which will significantly save electricity. Moldavian Metallurgical Plant has also paid special attention to logistics for the last two years. Earlier, Sergei Kornev gave an example in order to load a car, it stood idle at the plant for at least two days. Now it takes about two hours.

The stable operation of the Moldavian Metallurgical Plant determines the stability of both the inhabitants of Rybnitsa and the economy of the entire Pridnestrovie.

The best metallurgists were awarded. The Order of Labor Glory was awarded to Vyacheslav Chokan, Head of the design department of Moldavian Metallurgical Plant. The medals “For Labor Valor” were awarded to Pyotr Vivtyuk, equipment repairman of the repair department, Vladimir Marchuk, Head of the power department, Grigory Melnyk, senior foreman of the steel casting section of the electric arc furnace shop. The medals "For Distinction in Labor" were awarded to Alexander Tsekhmister, senior foreman of the section of the section rolling shop, and Elena Yatsynyuk, Head of the maintenance shop. Distinguished employees received certificates and letters of thanks from the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, certificates from the Ministry of Economic Development.
