The Investigation Committee celebrated the first anniversary - 5 years from the date of education. The chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba took part in the meeting on this solemn occasion.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Vyacheslav Brinzar, commented on the long and recent history of the investigative bodies of the PMR.

Today, the Investigative Committee is responsible for criminal prosecution on behalf of the state. At the heart of its work is the independence of investigators, their objectivity and impartiality. The investigator's profession is one of the most difficult, but at the same time interesting. The scrupulousness, even the accuracy of Pridnestrovian investigators, their professionalism give positive results. Over the past period of this year, 18% of cases were filed with the courts, more than in the same period of 2016. In just five years, the Investigative Committee's staff solved more than three thousand crimes. This was facilitated by a high level of interaction with colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the MGB, the State Customs Committee, the Prosecutor's Office.

The head of the legislative body of the republic Alexander Shcherba congratulated the staff of the Investigation Committee on the first jubilee.

The distinguished officers of the Investigative Committee on the day of the fifth anniversary were awarded state and departmental awards.
